I didn't really have anything particular in mind in extending the buddy request. I just thought we're sorta similar, your birthday is one day before mine, you're retired, as I am, you have teaching credentials, as do I, you make homemade bread, and I EAT all the homemade bread I can get my hands on, I read, I write, I was a beach bum on the Gulf Coast for bunches of summers in my youth, and I spend more time on GB than I do anywhere else --- so I think we might enjoy each other's company....unless, of course, you're a Screaming Borax Yomomma Liberal, in which case we'd probably BOTH be better off forgetting the whole thing. Now I see you've already accepted, so we'll have to see what we shall see when it comes to "polly tricks." LOL

Sorry to butt in, but I'm curious: Do bears scat in the woods? (God, I'm so clever sometimes it scares me! LOL LOL LOL, etc.) Oh.....howdy!

Just be careful and watch out for bear scat that has tiny jingle bells in it.

What to make with those freshly picked berries? If I found bear scat next to a clump of berries, I would make HASTE and get outtathere!
